META HAS RESPONDED TO ELON MUSK THREAT OVER APP'S MULTI USER BASE

Meta (Mark zuckerberg) has given feedback to Elon Musk’s lawsuit threat against his new platform Threads which states that none of the staff working on the app are former Twitter employees.

Apparently on Thursday, Twitter threatened Meta with legal action over its new social media app Threads, claiming it to be a “copycat” platform built by hiring former Twitter staffs.

Since its emergence, Meta’s text-based platform built in partnership with Instagram, has stacked up more than tenths of millions signups, seemingly becoming the most rapidly downloaded app ever and the most popular Twitter alternative yet.

Hours into its launch, however, Twitter attorney (Alex Spiro) sent a letter to Meta chief (Mark Zuckerberg) contradicting that his company was guilty of “systematic, intentional, and illegal misappropriation of Twitter’s marketing skills and other intellectual property”, according to Semafor.

“Twitter intends ardently implenting its intellectual property rights, and demands that Meta take immediate steps to stop using any Twitter marketing skills or other valuable and confidential information,” Said Mr spyro in the letter.

“Twitter reserves all rights, including, but not limited to, the right to seek both civil solutions and injunctive relief without further notice to restrict any further retention, exposure, or use of its intellectual property by Meta,” the attorney added.

All together, Mr Spiro accused Meta hiring dozens of former Twitter staff who “had and also continue to gain access to Twitter’s marketing skills and other valuable confidential information”.
